Golden hour and the accompanying sunrises and sunsets can be a rewarding time to shoot photos. Sometimes if the conditions are right mother nature can surprise us with some spectacular skies. The tricky part is being in the right place to take advantage of those situations and make the most of it. 

As a photographer there are few things more disappointing than  when the sky is on fire with mother nature’s handiwork and being without a camera, or in a situation or location where you take take advantage of the lighting.  Nobody wants to see a spectacular sunset from a parking garage or the side of an ugly sprawling city landscape. -Castle
